Installation of aluminium thresholds
To install the aluminium thresholds, you can choose between wooden frame profiles, wall anchors or A2 quality screws. Seal all joints with union cement. The use of end grain and joint sealants is also recommended. Thermo door sills are installed using EPDM or plastic adapters.
Please note that DIN standard 18195 must be implemented for fully functional weather protection:
- DIN 18195-4 (Waterproofing of building components in contact with the ground against ground moisture and non-pressing water)
- DIN 18195-5 (Waterproofing of structures against pressing water)
- DIN 18195-9 (Waterproofing in transition areas)
