A rebate on a wood-aluminium composite window is a special profile shape that is integrated into the cover frame of the window. The slanted shape of the rebate makes cleaning the window easier, as less dirt and deposits accumulate.

FAQS about BUG rebate systems
In the area of the sash and transom, the profile mounting is moved downwards so that the setting bar and transom solution can be implemented as usual. The corner vulcanised sealing frame is replaced by a stop seal. The use of a system or centre seal is not necessary.
The design of the rebate aluminium frames can be welded or mechanical. You can also choose from one of three design variants: the rebate system is available as a flush or recessed version, and as an integral window. In addition to the standard sizes, smaller sash sizes can also be easily implemented with the BUG rebate system. We would be happy to assist you.
There is no need to purchase and install an expensive system or centre seal. The integrated stop seal is sufficient. The rest of the assembly corresponds to the classic wood-aluminium window.
The use of only one tool set reduces setup and throughput times, as there is no need to change tools. This also shortens the delivery time. Further cost savings are achieved by replacing the corner vulcanised sealing frame with a stop seal. This enables automated and industrial production as well as shorter assembly times.
