BUG’s low-energy solution, low-E 2, combines a wood-aluminium construction with a 20 mm thick insulation layer that provides a high level of thermal insulation and weather protection. With excellent insulation values (Uw up to 0.67 W/m²K), it meets all the requirements of the German Building Energy Act (GEG) for low-energy and passive houses. The system is available in all design variants of the BUG wood-aluminium windows.
