Expansion of the Integral series for BUG wood-aluminium systems with BUG Integral 3
With the new BUG Integral 3, the cover and sash frames merge on the outside to create a visually slimline frame look. The maximum functionality of the aluminium frames does not compromise the modern, sleek aesthetic of the facade during the planning and execution stages. The slimline frame designs and large glass surfaces create light-filled rooms with a warm ambience. This opens up new possibilities for architects, planners and building owners in facade design and the planning of attractive building envelopes.
Thanks to their narrow sash frames and the option to customise the colour of the frame profiles, Windows with Integral III from the BUG brand offer great planning freedom for an exclusive and attractive window and facade design. At the same time, the aluminium frames provide the best possible protection for the wooden frames and optimum weather resistance. The all-round welded and ground sash frame corners also support this. The aluminium frames of the BUG Integral III are composed of functional integral sash frames and narrow cover frames. This creates a refined look with almost concealed sashes. Due to the special profile geometry, the sash frame is concealed.
The Integral III frame system offers further benefits in terms of building physics. The corner-vulcanised outer glazing seal ensures safety and verified water tightness under heavy rain. The seal also offers a helpful grid function for easy installation and prevents it from sliding out. At the same time, the Integral III wood-aluminium system includes a partially concealed stop seal directly on the cover frame. This ensures defined water drainage through the screw channel cover seal’s drip edge on the sash. This prevents moss formation and water build-up on the cover and sash frame. In conjunction with highly thermally insulating multiple glazing, the BUG glass support and the corner-vulcanised glazing seal, excellent thermal insulation values can be achieved. In addition to classic integral windows, this window system can also be used to implement mullion-transom facades or glass fall protection.
Integral III can also be combined with the tested glass fall protection system, FrontProtect from BUG. The glass fall protection system retains its full safety functionality when used with casement windows. This construction also offers verified water tightness under heavy rain and allows a high incidence of light into the interior, even during heavy rain. A light-filled home creates a cosy ambience.
The Integral III wood-aluminium system from BUG efficiently combines sustainable materials. The weather-resistant aluminium frame is combined with the wood base construction. Wood has excellent insulating properties, which are further enhanced by additional sealing systems. The two materials wood and aluminium form the basis for environmentally friendly and sustainable BUG wood-aluminium systems. This makes the Integral III from BUG ideal for long-lasting, sustainable window construction, as well as for generating value through construction and renovation.
