The window manufacturer's factory hall and office impress with their unique arched construction, combined with elegant wood-aluminium integral windows. The curved lines create a harmonious yet dynamic appearance that combines both functionality and aesthetics.

Innovative factory building with award-winning wood arch construction

The factory hall in Manternach sets new standards in production and planning. The innovative wood arch construction, developed with parametric planning tools, enables spans of up to 55 metres without supports. Implementation planning and tests were carried out in collaboration with the Swiss University EPFL and the IBOIS Institute. Production and assembly are still carried out in-house today.

In 2017, our business partner Annen plus S.A. received the Innovation Award for Craftsmanship in the "System/Production Process" category for this outstanding design. The modular arch construction, which requires no screws or nails, impressed the jury and emphasises our pioneering role in modern timber construction.
