Accessories for wood-aluminium windows

Glass support

The new glass support from BUG can be used universally in wood-aluminium and wood window construction. It is suitable for multiple glazing and provides offset compensation for flush sash frames. The glass support consists of a base block, load transfer and glass thickness extension. Thanks to the fine corrugation, it is easier to adjust the distance. Its high compressive strength makes it suitable for glass thicknesses of up to 60 mm. Thanks to the grid function, the optimum depth can be set according to the thickness of the glass. The glass support can be used with wood-aluminium windows from BUG regardless of the system.

Roller shutter guide rails

In addition to installation on wood-aluminium window systems, BUG roller shutter guide rails are also suitable for use on all other window frame materials (wood, aluminium and PVC). Depending on the intended use, the profiles are supplied with or without a guide keder. In addition to the profile system, accessories for installation, an element coupling and a curtain insert are also available.

Corner connectors and corner brackets

The system profiles can be connected to the frame either by welding or mechanically. Welded corner connectors are made at the factory. The following connection types are available for the assembly of mechanical corner connectors:

• Punched corner joint (for rationalised production)
• Eccentric corner joint (for small production quantities, no machines required)

All connection types can be realised with the same corner angles from BUG.

Seals

Penetrating rainwater is collected by the corresponding seals in the water collection chamber and drained away indirectly through the factory-installed perforations. BUG offers the following seals depending on the application:

• Rebate seal (corner-vulcanised frame made of EPDM material)
• Lip seal
• Glazing seal

Fixing brackets

BUG also provides various fixing brackets for attaching the aluminium frames to the wooden part. Cover frames and sash frames can be fixed using either Profix 652 910 or rotary brackets 652 903; sash frames can also be fixed using Drehfix 630 300.
